God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.

He has no beginning or end. He is the one true God that exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, and all-wise. Jesus is God and became flesh and blood on this earth in order to present himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people. The Holy Spirit guides people into all truth and into a growing relationship with God while revealing the true nature of God to those who believe. (Gen 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 19:1-3; John 1:1—18; John 4:24)

The Bible is the unchanging Word of God.

It is God’s instruction book for life according to God’s eternal plan for all of us. It tells us of God’s character and nature, the unending love God has for each person, how to know God personally, and how we are to live in this world. (Psalms 40:8; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12)

God has created each person in the image of God.

We are created with unique gifts, talents, and purposes which are to be used to bring glory to God and to assist others. (Genesis 1:26-30; Psalm 8:3-6; Psalm 139:13-18)

All people are marred by disobedience toward God which is called sin.

Sin corrupts our relationships with God and others, and it is an obstacle to living out the best life that God has uniquely designed for each person. Our pride is always the root of our sin, choosing to do things the way we think we should for our own pleasure, instead of living the way that God knows best. (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:8-10)

Trusting in and following Jesus is the only way for us to know God personally and for our sins to be forgiven and removed.

Jesus came to this earth to purposely offer up his life as the ultimate sacrifice for our sin. Jesus died an innocent man on the cross and rose again from the dead in the ultimate act of selfless love to conquer sin and death so that we could have an opportunity to know God, grow in our relationship with Him, and live eternally with God in heaven. (John 3:16-21; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-22)

God designed us with eternity in mind.

He desires for us to thrive by living out our best life possible by following His ultimate plan and purpose for our lives. God desires to spend eternity in heaven with every person who accepts Jesus as their Savior. (Proverbs 3:5-6; Jeremiah 29:11-13; John 10:10; Romans 8:28)
